How to Clean Euro Cabinets

How to Clean Euro Cabinets

At this point you’re either seriously considering Euro Cabinets, or, you already have them and you want to know how to keep them clean. Our GoldenHome Cabinetry is unique and taking care of them is a little different since they aren’t like Traditional or Shaker Styles. Even though they’re high durability, in order to maintain lasting optimal shape of the cabinets, you have to treat them with the right care. The steps below will keep your cabinets clean so that you can love them even longer. These are steps for regular monthly cleaning, but can be used to spot clean on a daily basis. If just a sanitizing needs to be done, most disinfectant alcohol spays will do the job, but you must be sure to wipe them off or streaks, spots or discoloration may occur.

Lacquer Cabinets

  1. Dust the cabinet doors and surfaces with a soft dry cloth. A microfiber duster works well since it collects dust without abrading the lacquer surface, use only a necessary amount of force.
  2. Dampen a sponge with water so it’s barely moist. Wipe fingerprints, dirt and smudges from the cabinets with the damp sponge. Water can sometimes damage lacquer so test in an inconspicuous area first.
  3. Dip a soft cloth into a furniture wax formulated for lacquer surfaces. If using a spray wax, spray the wax onto the cloth and NOT directly on the cabinet.
  4. Rub the wax into the lacquer with a circular buffing motion. Add more wax to the cloth as needed.
  5. Wipe down the cabinet with a clean soft cloth after waxing to remove the excess wax.

Glossy & UV Cabinets

  1. Wet a cloth with warm water adding a small amount of mild dish soap. and wring out until damp but not dripping.
  2. Gently wipe cabinets until splatter or grease lifts of completely
  3. Wipe dry with a dry cloth or paper towel, it is important not to leave any water on the cabinets to avoid streaks and spots.

Classic & Deluxe Cabinets

How Should I Set Up My Showroom?

How Should I Set Up My Showroom?

How Should I Set Up My Showroom?

Your Euro Cabinetry Display can be as unique as you are! The short video will offer some ideas on how to set up your showroom, but the key is to make it as versatile as possible. Whenever choosing items to add into the showroom its best to seek first your key variable.. Your Customers! If they have been frequently asking for items you don’t currently have for display then that is a definite lead in the right direction.

Euro Cabinetry is partnered with Rev-A-Shelf who offers thousands of accessories and counting to offer your clients all of the customization and efficiency they can handle. Accessories are an important feature when displaying our cabinetry. With features such as “soft-close” becoming more standard than added, customers expect more, especially those that don’t mind paying to achieve a completely custom home fitted to their personal taste. You may have even had customers come to you with their Pinterest boards and show you how they want their space to be! To be able to let them see and touch some of the things they’ve seen online will make them more confident in their buy, or realize what’s not for them. Either way you will be pleased that your time has not been misused, and your customer has a clearer idea of what they want so you can deliver an exceptional result.

What Color you give your display is up to you, I may sound repetitive in saying “its up to you” but it is. You’re working first hand with the home owners and their needs are key leads as to what you should display. Even asking a customer who’s interested in our frameless cabinet line “Out of the colors you’ve seen, which one would you like to see displayed in person?” is a non-formal way to conduct a survey with a way better response rate than an email form. When determining space a simple B18 + W1836 can work fine but if you find that you have displays that are not converting, then it may be plausible to make plans to switch them out whether its for a Euro Display or another style of cabinet display. Although, as you’ve seen in the video, you really get a full experience including a full Kitchen, Closet, or Bathroom Design. If you ever need help with your showroom design then feel free to contact us for assistance. We want you to feel confident in your display and we will work with you every step of the way to ensure you’re happy with your new Euro Cabinetry Display.

What Are European Style Cabinets?

What Are European Style Cabinets?

What Are European Style Cabinets?

And How are they Different from Traditional, Transitional And Shaker Styles?

European Cabinets. Frameless Cabinets. Slab Door Cabinets.

All are fully acceptable ways to address this style of cabinetry! European style cabinets are characterized by the their simplistic slab style doors. Unlike some styles that focus on intricate and beautiful detail, European Cabinets take the “less is more” approach.

European style cabinets are also frameless meaning the frame where the door hinges would usually be screwed onto, in most American cabinets, is removed and the hinge is instead screwed directly on the box. Doing this increases the range and efficiency of the cabinet. Since the frame is removed this type of cabinet can be placed directly on an enclosing wall, and not jam, or rub against that wall. In turn reducing the quality of your cabinet, and potentially damaging your wall.

This style of cabinetry is versatile as far as how you can design it since it is common to see them in natural wood and non-natural wood colors such as concrete. But you can combine them with other colors or styles of cabinets to form some pretty unique spaces. This style suits a person who appreciates the minimalistic design. On the other hand, if you prefer something more flamboyant. Then it gives you the flexibility to be able to customize your home in a way that satisfies your unique taste!

Shaker Cabinets

Shaker style cabinets are the closest in terms of style to European Cabinets. These cabinets are well known for their simplistic style with the only defining detail being a rectangular divot in the middle, some having a seam on the border where the joints connect. The Shaker Style Cabinets are different from the European Style Cabinets because of their style, but most Shaker Style Cabinets have a frame compared to frameless European Style Cabinets.

Transitional Cabinets

Transitional Style Cabinets take on various designs, some resembling Traditional, some border lining Shaker. It is a very in between style and even I have trouble distinguishing Transitional Cabinets from some Shaker and Traditional Cabinets. These Cabinets will also typically have a frame and suite those who want to get something updated but not completely modern.

Traditional Cabinets

Traditional Cabinets have long been incorporated into American Cabinetry. It often consist of rectangular bevels and decorated crown molding. Traditional Cabinets are far more elaborate in design as compared to European Cabinets that capitalize on minimal detail in way of the build. Traditional Cabinets give a lot more options than European Style Cabinets but the choice on whether you go with them is completely up to personal preference.

If you know what “feel” of cabinets you want but aren’t sure of the style then the scale below will offer some insight as to what style would be right for you.

The main difference between European Style Cabinets and the rest is not having a frame, and the full slab style door. If you are looking to have a completely modern or smart home then the European Style Cabinets will work perfectly in your design! But there are so many ways to customize your space by mixing and matching styles
